Van Heusen Men's Fashion Week 2010 - Glimpses

This year's edition of the Van Heusen Men's Fashion Week had top designers like Ashish Soni and Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna showcase some of their amazing prêt designs.

A model walks the ramp in an Ashish Soni piece. Ashish Soni had moustachioed models walk in his creations in doing with his 70s-inspired theme called 'Check Mate'. Particularly catchy were the trousers with cummerbunds, attractive bow ties, checked pants and coats with frills thrown in for good measure.
The moustaches resembled Robert Vadra's pencil-slim moustache. Robert Vadra, a childhood friend of Soni was in the row of spectators and many believed Soni's collection was inspired by Vadra.
Soni put to rest the speculation, "Robert is my childhood friend. We were in the same school together. However, the look used in the collection is not his imitation. It may be at the back of my mind but it was unintentional." But he admitted the moustache was copied from Vadra.

Another of Ashish Soni's moustachioed models walks in a smart creation. The designer defined each of the moustachioed hulks as perfect marriage material boys, the kind who girls would want to take home to their moms. Girls! do you agree?
